Swansea South Wales Celebrant

Hello! I’m Cerith (pronounced with a kicking ‘K’), a Swansea South Wales Celebrant who’s committed to travel far and wide to tell your story. I officiate both Weddings and Celebrations of Life / Funerals. I feel extremely lucky that I now get to call this my job and without sounding cheesy, I honestly believe this is something I was born to do; being part of a Wedding day or a Celebration of Life / Funeral, I view not just as my craft - it’s my calling, a privilege and are moments in time I never take for granted. To be part of these occasions with and for incredible people, for me affirms the importance of togetherness, gratitude, and the stories we carry with us, leaving a lasting impact on all those involved.

I’m a massive people person; with family at the heart of everything I do (my wife, mum and sister). I’m full of warmth, great instinct, always delivering with complete honesty, unashamedly feel good humour, charm and a bit/ a lot of cheekiness.

I attack and make the most of every single day, always making sure I grab that nugget of happiness. Whether that’s wild swimming and surfing, listening to my Arcade Fire vinyls with a cup of good coffee, dancing in the kitchen with a glass of red wine or cuddling my adorable puppy Bonnie the Italian greyhound (who I’m just obsessed with).

My experience

I’m a proper Celtic boy, with firm roots in both Wales and Scotland. My background is in acting, voice over and writing, which I’ve done professionally for over twenty years (my stage name is Cerith Flinn).

As an actor; I’ve worked all over the world, extensively in television, stage, radio and commercials. I’m best known for my series regular roles of Aran in BBC’s fantasy drama ‘Wolfblood’, Gethin Pryce in BBC’s ‘Eastenders’ and Dr Levi in Chanel 4’s ‘Hollyoaks’.

As a voice over artist; I have vast experience from TV commercials, documentaries, audiobooks, radio dramas, and computer games. I’m extremely proud of my work on the highly acclaimed radio drama ‘The Archers’.

As a writer; I have worked on many spec scripts. My feel good, TV comedy drama project entitled ‘Little Dragons’ is currently in development with Off the Cobbles Productions.

I’ve also had many years of experience assisting my wife in her wedding photography business ‘Kirsty Louise Photo’ (the photos that adorn this website are captured by the both of us). As her second photographer, I’ve witnessed countless weddings, which has given me a real insight into how the cogs of a wedding work and also on a practical note, I know how special the wedding photos are (and that all important first kiss shot), so can happily work with the positioning of you so the guests can make the most of the experience.

I’m a creative soul, with storytelling being the nucleus of everything I do. I made the move into celebrancy in 2024 with the experience and confidence I’ve garnered through my previous work allowing a seamless transition of transferable skills; enabling me to connect and inspire people on an emotional level.
